The Mulanje Camp, held this past June, was a truly unforgettable experience for everyone involved. This bi-annual event brought together over 100 young women from across Malawi, all eager to connect, learn, and grow.
The camp took place in the breathtaking surroundings of Mount Mulanje, a location chosen not only for its beauty but also for its symbolism of resilience and strength. Participants were challenged both physically and emotionally as they embarked on hikes up the mountain.
One camper reflected, “Reaching the summit wasn’t just about the climb—it was about believing in myself and the support of my sisters.”
Highlights from the camp included:
- Interactive Workshops: Sessions on personal development, confidence-building, and leadership skills.
- Spiritual Reflections: Group discussions on how faith can guide and inspire young women to overcome challenges.
- Community Impact: A visit to nearby villages where we donated supplies and engaged with the local community.
The Mulanje Camp proved once again how transformative these experiences can be. We can’t wait to welcome even more participants to the next camp in December 2024!
